Over the years of my practice, I have developed many of my own unique and personal methods of love magic; some of them are described in my book. They are based on ancient texts that I have studied in both translation and in their original languages, such as The Key of Solomon and the runic manuscripts of Jonas of Grunnavik; I have also studied the practices of Ancient Egypt and pre-Islamic Arabic magic. About energy flows, or how it works:
The goal of any magical operation is to capture the appropriate energy flow in the macrocosm and direct it toward one’s own situation, after first establishing the correct “channel of manifestation.” Whether we call these energy flows spirits, angels, demons, the devil, or something else, the process of “capturing” them and directing them in the desired direction has always looked roughly the same across all eras and among all peoples. Whether it’s Dr. Faust’s incantations or the sacred hymns of the ancient Egyptians—they all share a similar structure and purpose. To summon, bind, and introduce into the flow of power a formula that will serve as a “map of manifestation”—an “instruction manual” for the forces of nature as they enter the material world. Thus, the blind forces of nature carry out their work, shaping the world and situations “according to the spellcaster’s design.” This is how it works in love magic as well; the only difference lies in the instrument—the correctly chosen flow of energy, of which there are countless varieties.
